Dear Friends,
We ask you to commit to praying for India during a time of desperate and growing need due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
More than 21 million people have been infected, (over a million people just in a 3-day
period), and more than 280,000 have died. Many died while waiting for a bed or oxygen,
while morgues and crematoriums struggle to deal with a seemingly unstoppable flow of bodies.
I have personally witnessed the level of suffering, as I visited one hospital filled with people who were screaming and crying for the lack of oxygen, ventilators, and staff.
Rural areas of India are the most devastated due to distance from hospitals and government
resources.
We believe the Lord has uniquely and providentially equipped us for COVID-19 relief outreach
in these areas. God has allowed us to hold pastors’ conferences all over different parts of India,
and they send daily prayer requests.
God has put on our hearts to assist these hard-hit areas which have no other means of help for oxygen tanks, medical bills, COVID-19 relief supplies, groceries, and hygiene products. We have been working directly with pastors and leaders from these areas and have developed a 4- stage relief plan.
Each food packet costs 50 cents. Cost of food packets to feed 100 hungry people per day is $50.
Our teams on the ground are dispatched to areas that are severely affected by COVID-19, where they will hand out grocery bags filled with enough groceries to last for two weeks. Each bag includes 10 kilos of rice (approximately 22 pounds), 2 kilos (4.4 pounds) of daal (lentils, beans), sugar, vegetables and some money. Each grocery bag is only $15.
God has put a desire in our hearts to help pastors and missionaries who are working in remote areas to assist them in their great need with their medical bills. Each family will receive $130 to help with food and hospital bills.
We are still working on this area. Once the government gives permission to buy oxygen tanks our teams will distribute them for families who are struggling in their homes without oxygen.
